The Company
Toro came up with an app that makes it really easy to invest in real estate. Phone calls, emails, attachments, and tracking progress used to be a pain. But when you put everything together in an easy-to-use app, investors have all the information they need to make good investment decisions at their fingertips.
Descriptions for each property include objective criteria, like square footage, number of bedrooms, etc., as well as conceptual criteria, like the agent’s opinion of the location, how the neighbors’ homes look, an attic description, etc. to help to give the investor a clearer picture without having to stop by.
Here’s how it works: An investor searches for properties (the same way you search for accommodations on AirBnB), chooses one to invest in, and tracks income growth.
After an investor invests in a property, he or she can also keep up with its renovation in the same way you check updates from your friends on Facebook. When the contractor uploads a picture, the investor gets a notification. They can see the actual environment and what’s happening on site in real time and track expenses on the go.
